Growing up in the heart of Sussex County, Delaware, K.C. Conaway—one of our dedicated owners—has always carried a deep love for the place he calls home. For more than 20 years, he’s devoted himself to serving this very community, both professionally and through nonprofit work, always driven by a desire to give back and make a lasting impact.
In 2000, K.C. Conaway and his wife, Kristy, earned their bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Health Science from Salisbury University. Shortly after graduating, K.C. began his public service career with the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), where he held roles as both an Environmental Scientist and Program Manager. His work also extended to DNREC’s Environmental Emergency Response Team, where he played a key role in managing and resolving hazardous environmental incidents across Delaware.
Faith and family are the cornerstones of K.C. and Kristy’s lives. Married for over two decades, they’re proud parents to two daughters, Keelie and Kaylin. Their shared commitment to service has guided them through years of youth ministry at their local church—an effort they’ve continued for over 20 years.
In 2012, K.C. helped launch the Good Ole Boy Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting local families during times of crisis. For the past decade, this organization has played a vital role in uplifting the community, a reflection of the Conaways’ unwavering mission to serve with heart and purpose.
David got his start in construction at just eight years old by spending time at jobsites alongside his father, Richard Wilson. He absorbed not just the skills of the trade but also the deeper lessons of faith, perseverance, and the importance of family. Ultimately, his strong work ethic and drive were shaped early on under his father's guidance.
In 1997, Dave stepped away from his family's business to launch Coastal Homes & Design, originally known as Wilson Contracting Inc. Over the past 30 years, he’s built a trusted and resilient company, known for its work on custom homes, remodels, commercial builds, and insurance restoration projects.
By 2009, with rising water tables across Delmarva, David saw an increasing demand for crawl space waterproofing. He established his second venture, Delaware Crawl Space Company, to meet that need.
David and his wife, Angel Wilson, have been married since 1996. They have two children, Chloe and Chase, and they live in Lewes, Delaware.
In 2024, David and K.C. acquired DryTek Crawl Space Solutions. Now overseeing four thriving companies, David remains focused on finding new ways to positively influence his community.
